Wisdom
Learning from what has formed us without becoming trapped inside the old story.
About Sharyl
Speaker, writer, coach, and event producer helping others find belonging through story.

Before Sharyl made it through the grade-school doors, she found herself on stage with a microphone, the consequence of having musicians as parents. She loved performing, but what captured her was the ability to connect with an audience and communicate a message.
Speech, debate, theatre, communication theory, political science, and graduate study in preaching gave that fascination structure. Coaching young speakers taught her something equally important: the experience becomes more valuable when what we learn is shared with those beginning their own journey.
Today, Sharyl is a TEDx speaker, award-winning author, speaker coach, producer, and social entrepreneur. Her work reframes conversations through generous communication and helps people examine our interconnectedness as human beings.
The throughline
Speaking is how Sharyl teaches it. Writing is how she explores it. Facilitation is how she practices it. Friendship, leadership, and belonging are places where it becomes visible.
Learning from what has formed us without becoming trapped inside the old story.
Making room for possibility, transformation, and the person or community still becoming.
Building relationships and cultures sturdy enough for honesty, dignity, and change.
